ECAN Bit Rate Calculator is a plugin to calculate parameters of the ECAN module for 16-bit (dsPIC33F, PIC24H, dsPIC33E, PIC24E) and 32-bit (PIC32MX5XX/6XX/7XX, PIC32MZxxxxECxxxx, PIC32MZxxxxEFxxxx) devices. Given the oscillator frequency, the ECAN time segments, and the Desired Baud Rate, this plugin calculates the Fcan frequency, the Time Quantum Tq, the Bit Rate Prescaler, the Bit Period, and the Bit Rate Error. The plugin also displays the value of the CiCFGx registers based on the selection of different parameters made by the user.

To install ECAN Bit Rate Calculator Plugin, download this extension and open it. It should install into Atmel Studio. Please make sure you have the necessary version of Atmel Studio installed in your PC.
