In the modern world there is an incredible amount of data available from a multitude of sensors deployed in embedded devices around the world. The ML Plugin allows you to connect your data to our machine learning partner platforms where you can develop solutions that can be deployed in your embedded application (*partner solutions can be deployed on Microchip Arm® Cortex®-based 32-bit microcontrollers and microprocessors). The ML Plugin runs within MPLAB Data Visualizer v1.2.

The ML Plugin has the following features:

• Save multi-axis data to a CSV file formatted for import into Cartesiam’s NanoEdge AI Studio

• Upload multi-axis data directly to the Edge Impulse Studio

• Upload 2-axis gesture data directly to the Motion Gestures SDK

System requirements

The ML Plugin requires MPLAB Data Visualizer version 1.2 (or later) to be installed within MPLAB X. A compatibility update, v1.0.5, was made for the Machine Learning Plugin in order to be compatible with MPLAB Data Visualizer v1.2.956 (or later).

Installation instructions

The ML Plugin can be installed within MPLAB X from the plugin update center or it can be installed within MPLAB Data Visualizer Standalone by manually adding the nbm in the plugins manager.

How to Install this Plugin:

This plugin can be downloaded as a zip file for offline installation in MPLAB X IDE.

1. Download the zip file from Microchip Gallery

2. Extract it to a location on disk

3. Open MPLAB X IDE

4. Navigate to Tools | Plugins

5. Click Downloaded Tab

6. Click Add Plugins...

7. Select the .nbm file from the extracted location

8. Install the plug-in.

To install MPLAB-Data-Visualizer-MachineLearning-Plugin, download this package and open it in IDE.
