>> NetBeans-based MPLAB IPE – Programming Interface now based on NetBeans platform, like MPLAB X IDE. Plugins are now supported.
>> Support for SAM E70 using MPLAB ICD 4 or MPLAB PICkit 4 (using AC102015) - Selected SAM devices supported. No support for EDBG, e.g. Xplained boards not supported.
>> MCU16 TPED code protection – New ICSP write inhibit programming support for dsPIC33CKxxxMP devices.
>> MCU8 HW stack for PIC18F – Hardware stack support for selected PIC18F devices (see below) using the hardware debug tools MPLAB REAL ICE in-circuit emulator and MPLAB ICD 3 and PICkit 3 in-circuit debuggers.
